Ryan Bukvich, 6'3" 225 lb RHP from Northwest Rankin H.S., attended Delta
State University his freshman season, then transfered to the University of
Mississippi for his Sophomore and Junior Seasons and pitched in the NCAA
Regionals at Texas A.&M University. Ryan was drafted in the 11th round of the
2000 Major League Baseball Draft by the Kansas City Royals. He was named by
Baseball America as the Best Late Round 2000 Draft Prospect and he had the
top rated fastball of all minor league prospects at 96 mph.
