Donnie Bridges, RHP from Oak Grove High School in the Montreal Expos
organization. Pitched for Vermont Expos in 1998, at Cape Fear in the South
Atlantic League and Jupiter, FL in the Florida State League in 1999, and in
Jupiter, FL and for the Harrisburg Senators in the Eastern League in the 2000
season. Donnie was selected on the All-Star Team for the Florida State League
and for the Eastern League All Star Team during the 2000 season. Donnie was
selected as the MVP for the Senators and won the Senators Pitching award and
was voted the Fan's favorite player during the 2000 season. Donnie was
selected the Montreal Expos Organizational Pitcher of the Year 2000 ans made
the Eastern League's Top 10 Major League Prospects List. As of Sept. 20,
2000 he was rated the # 1 Prospect in the Montreal Expos' Minor League
Organization.
